Graphic design?
I am currently undergoing measurments to ensure a place in a university senior graphic design, unfortunately, financial situations because I can not produce a more decent or purse. Is there anyone who can give me some advice to show my work effectivly cost and a nice way? Ps any other tips for my interview is greatly appreciated? …
I do not really know what to tell you, maybe get a job in a print shop if you want to cut corners. I am in one of the best in Canadian Universities privitized arts, NSCAD. It was like jumping through hoops to get in, but I worked in a photo shop for a few years with a digital department. I would say that my portfolio is easily a major retail cost anyway. It is not discouraging, but the percentage that gets in my school is perhaps 3% of applicants. For all I know is not even taken into account. It may be detrimental to their school career to make assumptions, as you do not need a portfolio. Yes you can apply again next year, but do not forget your name. I would wait a year and build a strong portfolio if I was.
